This writ petition has been filed against the order dated 22.1.2021 of the District Magistrate- Mau by which the firearm license of the petitioner has been cancelled.
Learned Standing Counsel, however, submitted that the order impugned was an appealable one.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he could not file the appeal owing to the prevailing pandemic.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being provided that if the petitioner files an Appeal within three weeks from today then the same shall be decided within a period of two months thereafter without going into the question of limitation, if there is no other legal impediment.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
