The petitioners claims to be the owners and in possession of various extents of properties covered under Ext.P2 order. These properties were subject matter of certain proceedings and have been exempted from ceiling, as per Ext.P2. The Revenue Officers refused to effect mutation on account of non-identification of the properties, pursuant to exemption order passed by the Taluk Land Board, Palakkad. 2. In view of the above, the 2nd Respondent shall demarcate and identify the properties, if necessary, with the assistance of the Taluk Surveyor, with reference to the order passed by the Taluk Land Board in Ext.P2. Needful shall be done within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being heard. After the preparation of sketch, mutation shall be effected in respect of the respective holders of properties.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
