Jayani vs Union

High Court Of Gujarat|16 April, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Per : HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE MR.BHASKAR BHATTACHARYA) Pursuant to our earlier order, the respondent has, today, placed before us the question paper as well as answer-sheet of the petitioner.
Mr.
A.R. Thacker, the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent No.2, on instructions from his client, has informed us that the petitioner has obtained 185.5 marks, whereas the minimum mark required for being eligible is 200. Therefore, according to Mr. Thacker, even if the answers to those five disputed questions are correct, the petitioner will not be eligible to get benefit out of it.
Be that as it may. Mr. Thacker fairly submits that his client will supply certified copy of the question paper as well as answer-sheet to the petitioner by tomorrow. Such being the position, Mr. Shah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the matter may be adjourned for a week for the purpose of verification whether his client is eligible at all.
Let the matter appear on April 20, 2012. Let the question paper and the answer-sheet submitted by Mr. Thacker be returned to him. No interim order.
