By order dated 24.4.2017 in Writ C No. 17226 of 2017, this Court directed Principal Secretary, (Local Bodies), Government of U.P., Lucknow to take decision/issue clarification in respect of certain queries made from the State Government regarding policy for disposal of land belonging to Nagar Nigam. The decision was required to be taken within three months from the date of the order.
Sri P.K. Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, has placed on record the decision taken by the Principal Secretary, Government of U.P., Lucknow dated 4.9.2018 in respect of the disposal of the land belonging to Nagar Nigams in pursuance of the direction issued by the writ Court.
Since a decision has already been taken in pursuance of the direction issued by the writ Court, therefore, this Court does not find any good ground to keep the instant matter pending. The contempt application is consigned to record.
