JUDGMENT / ORDER

On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the Inspector of Police, Andipatti Police Station registered a case in Crime No.217 of 2017 under Sections 3 and 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003 and Sections 448, 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C. against one Rajaram and his wife Thanalakshmi and not satisfied with the progress of the investigation, the defacto complainant is before this Court for transfer of investigation.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents.
3.Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations made in the F.I.R., this Court is of the view that it will be in the interest of justice, if the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Andipatti is directed to closely monitor the investigation in this case.
4.Accordingly, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Andipatti is directed to closely monitor the investigation, which has been conducted by the Inspector of Police, Andipatti in Crime No.217 of 2017 and the Inspector of Police, Andipatti Police Station is directed to expeditiously complete the investigation and file either final report or closure report as the case may be.
5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
