J.Anitha vs The Executive Engineer And ...

Madras High Court|10 November, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted a representation dated 13.06.2012 seeking to register the plot allotted to him in lieu of the allotment letter No.H6/182/05 dated 13.01.2005. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
4. It is seen that the representation of the petitioner is of the year 2012 and the fate of the said representation is not known. Anyhow considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matters, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2012 and pass suitable orders thereon, if not already passed, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any.
5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
