The petitioner was given benefit of Mukhya Mantri Gramodyog Rojgar Yojana and was extended a loan of Rs. 6,30,000/-. By a demand notice dated 27.8.2018, the petitioner has been informed that he has not deposited the regular instalments as per the agreement and the scheme and his account has been declared NPA on 11.9.2015 and a sum of Rs. 8,25,467/- is outstanding.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he admits the outstanding amount and he is ready to pay provided some instalments are fixed by the Bank.
It is to be noted that under the scheme there is already a mechanism of paying back the loan in instalment which the petitioner has apparently not followed. If the petitioner wants any further indulgence then it is for the Bank to consider the claim of the petitioner. In case, the petitioner makes an application before the Bank to the aforesaid effect, the same shall be decided within a period of two months.
With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
