The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.23 of 2017 within a stipulated period.
Counsel for the petitioner points out that statement of PW-1 has already been recorded. The case is now posted for recording of the remaining evidence of the plaintiff and its witnesses.
Having regard to the facts of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
