Pursuant to the last order passed in these proceedings, the applicant has filed a Supplementary Affidavit to which is appended an order dated 13 April 2017 in terms of which his contempt petition was dismissed as withdrawn in the following terms:
"After some argument, learned counsel for the applicant comes up with the prayer to withdraw this petition, at this stage, with liberty to pursue his remedy before the authority.
Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage."
Since the instant petition is not based on any new cause of action, it is not maintainable and is consequently dismissed.
