1. Heard Sri Agnivesh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Akhilesh Chandra Srivastava for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 while learned Standing counsel is present for the State.
2. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was working as Assistant Teacher in Primary School, Janmasi, District Hathras and due to certain irregular act, departmental proceedings were initiated against him and charge sheet in this regard was served on 8.10.2020. Petitioner submitted his reply to the same and subsequently by means of order dated 3.3.2021 major penalty was imposed against the petitioner. The petitioner appealed against that order before respondent No.2- Secretary, Basic Education Department, Prayagraj on 24.3.2021 which is still pending.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has sought a direction for expeditious disposal of his appeal dated 24.3.2021.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents do not object in case such a direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the appeal.
5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the aforesaid appeal of the petitioner, expeditiously say within a period of four months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in accordance with law.
