Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Ramesh Chandra Upadhyay for the Gaon Sabha as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh (Respondent no.2) to decide the Revision u/s 333 of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950 as Revision No.29M Case No.864 of 2015 Computer Case No.C2015150000864 (Baleshwar Rai and others Vs. Jai Prakash Rai and others) pending since 2015 expeditiously if possible within three months as within stipulated period as fix by this Hon'ble Court."
By means of this writ petition, petitioner seeks directions for expeditious disposal of a revision filed by the respondents against a preliminary decree in a suit for partition, which is stated to be pending since 2015.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to state as to whether, the lower Court record has been received or not.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that once the lower Court record is received, the Court concerned may endeavour to decide the matter expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the lower Court record.
