Challenging the order of conviction and sentence passed in C.A.No.38 of 2010, dated 31.03.2011 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Namakkal confirming the judgment passed in S.C.No.94 of 2009, dated 12.03.2010 on the file of the learned Assistant Sessions Judge (Subordinate Judge), Namakkal, the present criminal revision has been filed.
2. When the above Criminal Revision Petition was taken up for hearing on 02.02.2017, the learned counsel for the respective parties have submitted that pending revision, the sole accused died on 04.02.2015.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has filed a Memo dated 01.02.2017 enclosing a copy of the death certificate dated 17.02.2015
4. Recording the Memo dated 01.02.2017 the Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as abated.
