ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. Perused the petition.
2. Petitioner has sought to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.17996/2014 on the file of the 15th ACMM Court, Bengaluru.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent has produced the copy of the order passed by the 15th ACMM Court, Bengaluru in C.C.No.17996/2014 dated 19.11.2015 whereby, the petitioner herein is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of NI Act and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.5,25,000/-. The Appeal preferred by the petitioner before the 59th Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru in Crl.A.No.1494/2015 is also dismissed by judgment dated 18.06.2016. As such, nothing survives for consideration in this petition.
Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
In view of dismissal of the petition, I.A.No.1/2015 does not survive for consideration. Hence, the same is dismissed.
