Under the order dated 12th December, 2018, this Court appointed Mr. Justice Rajiv Lochan Mehrotra, a retired Judge of this Court as the sole Arbitrator subject to his consent as per provisions of sub-Section (8) of Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The sole Arbitrator appointed has conveyed his consent to devote himself as Arbitrator in the arbitral proceedings concerned.
Accordingly, the application is allowed. The appointment of sole Arbitrator under the order dated 12th December, 2018 is made absolute. The parties are required to avail the date of proceedings from the Arbitrator appointed at earliest.
A copy of this order be served upon the Arbitrator appointed through the applicant.
The application stands disposed of accordingly.
