Heard Mr R S Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr Madhur Prakash, learned counsel for respondent No.2 & 3.
The only relief pressed before us is to-
"(III) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.1 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 07.03.2018 pending before him and also give permission for eenhancement of gas supply to the petitioner."
Having regard to the nature of the prayer, we are satisfied that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by the following order:
Respondent No.1, shall consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 07.03.2018, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. It is needless to mention that the concerned authority shall deal with the application, on merits, in accordance with law. Petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition and its annexures before the concerned authority within a period of ten days from today.
With these observations, petition is disposed of.
