JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 05.11.2015 preferred by the petitioner within a time frame.
2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents 1 & 2, submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 3rd respondent.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 05.11.2015 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
