Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief:
"a. Direct the respondent No. 1 to decide the declaration of vacancy and allotment application (under Sections 12 and 16 of the Act), being Case No. 670 of 2015, Computer Case No. D2015032200670 (Izhar Waris Vs. Asif Idrees and another) pending before the court of Rent Control and Eviction Officer/ City Magistrate Etawah expeditiously as may be possible within a time so stipulated by this Hon'ble Court;"
It is contended that the petitioner instituted proceedings under Sections 12 and 16 of the U.P. Act No. 13 of 1972 for declaration of vacancy and allotment of the shop. It is further contended that in the said proceedings respondent nos. 2 and 3 have appeared and are contesting the proceedings and the said case is still pending consideration before the Court concerned. It is urged that the Court below may be directed to decide the said application within a stipulated time frame.

Expeditious disposal of a case is the right of every litigant and it is expected from every court to endeavour to dispose of a case pending before it expeditiously.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, but without entering into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Court concerned to make all possible efforts to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order, fixing short dates, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, provided there is no legal impediment.
