Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The writ petition has been filed on the basis of a revenue entry of an alleged allotment. The allotment is of an agricultural lease.
In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by an allotment made ostensibly under the provisions of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, his remedy is by means of proceedings for cancellation of the allotment, because it is settled law that an agricultural lease granted under the provisions of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, can be examined only in accordance with the procedure prescribed thereunder, which is a complete code in itself.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is not maintainable and is dismissed.
