JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mrs.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the 1st Respondent and Mr.Paramasivadoss accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd Respondent. 2 The petitioner would state that she is the widow of [Late] B.Damodharan, who was working as a Traffic Control Manager in the services of the 2nd respondent/Corporation and he died in harness on 02.05.1991 due to work pressure. It is further averred that from 03.05.1991 onwards, the petitioner is paid with Family Pension from EPF Organisation, Chennai and according to her, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.32, of the 1st respondent Department dated 04.03.2016, she is eligible to get Family Pension and in this regard, the petitioner has submitted series of representations dated 10.04.2016, 13.04.2016, 10.05.2016, & 13.02.2017 to the respondents and in spite of receipt and acknowledgment, she is yet to be favoured without any kind of response and therefore, the petitioner came forward to file this present Writ petition.
3 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.P.Paramasivadoss,learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.
4 Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2017 on merits and in accordance law and pass appropriate orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
5 The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
