Madras High Court|04 September, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Apprehending the disturbance to his properties in Survey No:462/2, Jayankondam, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District and to the Tasmac shop No:6310 functioning therein, the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent police on 07.08.2017 seeking for protection. Since, the petitioner's complaint could not be disposed of in time, the present petition has been filed for a direction.
2. I am of the view, that it would be appropriate for the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's request rather than directing them to give protection.
3. In these circumstances, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2017 on its own merits and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. The Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
