JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings C.M.P.No.4/Black Marketer/Salem City/2016 dated 24.10.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Thiru.Munavar, S/o.Babu, aged about 23 years, was ordered to be detained under BLACK MARKETER as contemplated under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act 7 of 1980).
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the mother of the petitioner dated 24.10.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.430 COOPERATION, FOOD AND CONSUMER PROTECTION (E3) DEPARTMENT, dated 17.11.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
