Even otherwise, with the passage of time, the petitioners have become over age and are ineligible for appointment to Government service. Therefore, at this stage, no direction can be issued to the respondents even to consider the case of the petitioners for appointment as and when the posts are filled up. 7 The writ petitions not only lack of merit, but have also been rendered infrutuous with the passage of time, thus, are disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. No cost.
