Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Diwakar Singh for the Gaon Sabha, respondent no.3 as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to expedite the proceedings in Case No.T201802030404685 of 2018 (Harikrishna Vs. Gaon Sabha and others) filed under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 and complete the proceedings thereof, expeditiously, preferably within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved on account of the pendency of his proceedings for demarcation under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 instituted in the year 2018 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Handia, District Prayagraj to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
