None is present on behalf of the applicant.
By means of this contempt application filed under section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for non-compliance of the order dated 25.1.2018 passed by writ Court in Writ-B No.-2694 of 2018 is complained of.
From the perusal of the order of the writ court, it clearly transpires that order passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation dated 6.1.2018 was set aside and the matter was remitted to the Deputy Director of Consolidation to decide afresh. A compliance affidavit has been filed in this case on behalf of the opposite party annexing therewith the copy of the final order passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation on 12.2.2019. Since, the order of the Deputy Director of Consolidation has been passed on merits in compliance of the order of remand, no more any cause survives to maintain the present contempt application.
Accordingly, the contempt application is consigned to records. Notices issued, if any, stand discharged.
It is always open for the party aggrieved by the order of the Deputy Director of Consolidation to challenge the same for appropriate proceeding in appropriate forum.
