Heard learned advocate for the appellant. Prima facie it appears that the Tribunal has committed an error in granting two different amounts of Rs. 75000/- and Rs. 45000/- as compensation under the head of pain, shock and suffering for amputation of a leg and injury of another leg respectively. The appellant shall be entitled only to one amount whichever is higher under the head of pain, shock and suffering and the award deserves to be modified accordingly. However, learned advocate appearing for the respondent requests for time to work up on the subject and come up with case laws on the same. Request is granted. List on 16.01.2012.
