JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court, contending that her son, Pathampiriyan, was brutally attacked by the police officials in the year 2012 and has produced a copy of the newspaper (The Indian Express) reported on 03.10.2012 and seeks a direction to the first respondent to provide compensation of a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh only).
2. Heard both sides.
3. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate, stoutly refuted the contentions of the petitioner and has produced a copy of the Revenue Divisional Officer's enquiry report dated 28.01.2013, wherein, it is specifically averred that the petitioner's son has not been treated for any grievous injury.
4. Recording such statement, this writ petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authorities, if anything otherwise is proved. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
