The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation made during the month of May 2016 and reminder dated 03.03.2017 and demarcate the Plot No.20, measuring an extent of 651 sq.ft, comprised in Survey No. 274/1 and 274/2 (sub divided as New Town Survey No. 242/1, 1/1, 1/3 AND 241/2/1) Ward 'F', Block No. 18 in Thiruvallur Annex, Adambakkam, Chennai and fix the boundaries.
2. Mr. D. Senthil Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is willing to pay necessary fee for demarcating the land and fixing the boundary stones.
3. Mr. A.N. Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that on payment of necessary charges, the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation for demarcating and for fixing the boundaries, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the petitioner to pay necessary charges for demarcation and fixing boundary stones in the petitioner's land. On payment of necessary charges, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation submitted during the month of May 2016 and reminder dated 03.03.2017 and further directed to demarcate the above said land and fix boundary stones, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
