For Petitioner : Mr.C.Prabakaran For Respondents : Mr.R.S.Selvam for R1 to R6 Government Advocate ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the official respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.419/3 measuring an extent of 1.20 acres situated at Polayampalli Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2017, the official respondents have not issued the patta so far.
3. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 4 to 6 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 7 and 8.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 4 to 6 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to respondents 7 and 8, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
