A mediation was offered by the husband-petitioner. When that failed and an order was passed by the Family Court on 10.1.2019 that no mediation was possible, the petitioner filed the instant writ petition. On 9.9.2019, the matter was once again remitted to the Mediation Centre for a settlement. Today, the parties have informed the Court that no mediation is possible.
Under such circumstances, the order dated 10.1.2019 is not being interfered with. It is provided that the Family court may continue to hear the matter and decide the petition being Marriage Petition No.881 of 2019 (Old No.368/2016) within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
