ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to cancel the bail that was granted by the learned Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai, in Crl.M.P.No.4703 of 2010, dated 20.12.2010, in connection with Crime No.17 of 2010. The case in Crime No.17 of 2010 was registered at the instance of the petitioner herein for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 294(B), 506 (i) IPC and 3(i)(x) of the SC/ST Act.
2. Crl.M.P.No.4703 of 2010 was ordered and bail was granted by the Court below in the year 2010. This application for cancellation of bail was filed in the year 2011 and for the past eight years, this petition is pending before this Court. In fact, the case papers were misplaced in the Registry and the bundle was thereafter, reconstructed.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that charge sheet has already been filed and taken on file as P.R.C.No.86 of 2012 and the same was also committed to the Court of Sessions on 18.02.2013.
4. Under such circumstances, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed and no further order is required to be passed.
