Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 02.2.2021 registered as Case Crime No.92 of 2021 under Sections 306, 511, 506 IPC, Police Station Vijay Nagar, District Ghaziabad. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioner in the aforesaid case.
Shri G.P. Singh, learned A.G.A. states that the petitioner's name has already been expunged from the aforesaid criminal case. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
