JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.S.M.S.Johny Basha, the learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 2 and 4.
2.The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 for providing 500 KVA HT electricity service connection in favour of the petitioner in respect of the properties bearing shop Nos.49, 50, 51, 52, 53A- 1 and 54 comprised in T.S.No.156 to 164, 168 to 174 New Block No.1, New Ward P Big Bazaar Street, Tiruchirappalli ? 620 002 without insisting the building permission in respect of the said properties.
3.By consent of both sides this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
4.The petitioner is already having LT Service Connection for his business premises. However, he had already requested for HT Service Connection and in this regard all necessary formalities according to the petitioner had been complied with and the necessary fees as requested by the respondents has been paid and relevant documents have been filed. The petitioner in order to get HT Service Connection made a detailed representation to the respondents on 28.10.2015.
5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that inspite of the compliance made pursuant to the directions issued from time to time by the respondents the HT Service Connection sought for has not been granted. In this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submits that if the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2015 submitted to the respondents 2 and 4 is considered and order to that effect is passed, the petitioner would be satisfied.
6.In view of the said submissions made by both sides as well as the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2015 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law regarding grant of HT Service Connection to the premises of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
