The present petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus commanding the competent authority to decide the claim of the petitioner. It is contended that the transfer order was issued on 30.6.2016 but the petitioner has not been relieved, inasmuch as, the same was stayed by the competent authority considering the adverse circumstances faced by the petitioner. It is contended that the petitioner is still facing the same adverse circumstances but no consideration has been given by the competent authority.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been relieved till date.
In view thereof, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner expeditiously preferably from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
