Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner is facing recovery of Rs. 4,17,609/- plus others issued on 24.01.2019 for realizing the electricity dues.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is ready and willing to make the entire payment provided some reasonable time is allowed.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, though we can relegate the petitioner to seek installments before the Executive Engineer concerned, but as the recovery has already been issued, we dispose off the writ petition with the direction to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs. 1,17,609/- within a period of 2 weeks from today i.e. latest by 15th August, 2019 and the balance amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- in 3 monthly installments of Rs. 1,00,000/- each payable by 15th September, 2019, 15th October, 2019 and 15th November, 2019. The last installment shall include the other dues etc.
In the event of default in payment of any of the installments, the respondents would be free to recover the amount as per the recovery citation forthwith.
