Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
The petitioner is a Pradhan and pursuant to an order dated 5.11.2018 an enquiry has been directed.
According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, on a similar complaint earlier enquiry was conducted and nothing was found. Now again due to political rivalry frivolous complaint has been made and again enquiry has been ordered.
It is to be noted that only enquiry has been ordered and no orders have been passed, which can be said to be in any manner against the petitioner. The authorities can always enquire the financial dealing of the Panchayat. As such, we are not inclined to interfere in the enquiry. However, if any enquiry is politically motivated, it is always open for the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate for the redressal of his grievances.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
