Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record.
This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following reliefs:
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to consider the case of petitioner for being appointed as Assistant Teacher (Urdu Language) on the vacant post of reserved category which is unfilled due to non availability of the candidates of a particular category;
(II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to take a decision regarding conversion of reserved category posts into general category after taking into account that these posts are unfilled due to non availability of candidate of that particular category;"
Without going into the merits of the contention of the petitioners at this stage and considering the fact that the matter is pending consideration before the Respondent No. 2, the writ petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the Respondent No. 2 within a period of four weeks from today along with a copy of this order. In the event, any such representation is filed, the Respondent No. 2 shall pass order thereon as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of the representation in accordance with law.
Copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court shall be treated as certified copy of this order.
