Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.
This application under article 227 has been filed with a prayer to direct the Civil Judge (Juniro Division)/F.T.C.-II, Deoria to decide the Domestic Violence Case No. 635 of 2016 dated 26.02.2016 (Begum Vs. Iqbal Ahmad), under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, Police Station Banakata, District Deoria within stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that Domestic Violence Case No. 635 of 2016, under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, filed by the applicant, is pending since 26.02.2016 and since then, proceeding has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.
In view of the above, learned court below is directed to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
With the aforesaid direction, this application under article 227 is finally disposed of.
