THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GHULAM MOHAMMED & THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G. CHANDRAIAH WRIT PETITION NO : 26428 of 2008 Order: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Ghulam Mohammed) The petitioner-Association filed the present writ petition seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to extend the benefit of age relaxation by taking into consideration the length of service/experience put in by the members of its association, who are holding different categories of posts in the Fast Track Courts.
At the hearing, Sri G. Vidya Sagar, learned Standing Counsel for the High Court has submitted that selections have already been made pursuant to the notifications dated 5.8.2008, 8.8.2008 and 18.8.2008 issued by the respondents and therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.
Inasmuch as selections have already been made pursuant to the notifications dated 5.8.2008, 8.8.2008 and 18.8.2008 issued by the respondents, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
