Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the Case No.00942/2018 (Computer serial No.D201813160000942) Abdul Saleem Vs. Mahbood pending before the Additional District Magistrate District Bijnor, expeditiously within the short stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that the proceedings aforenoted are at the instance of the opposite parties challenging the allotment of a fisheries lease in favour of the petitioner's husband, in the year 2013 for a period of 10 years.
It is stated that on account of the pendency of the proceedings an interim order operating therein, she has not been permitted to operate the fisheries lease.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) District Bijnor to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
