ORDER This petition is filed on the ground that the order of the learned Single Judge dated 23.02.2017, passed in Writ Petition Nos.30506-30523 of 2013 and Writ Petition No.38581 of 2013, has been disobeyed.
2. In terms whereof, respondent Nos.4 to 20, were directed to identify the backlog vacancies in all the departments, within a period of three months and complete the recruitment process as expeditiously as possible.
3. A counter Affidavit of the Registrar (Administration), Bengaluru University, is filed in the court today, stating that the backlog vacancies having been identified, a notification in pursuance of the recruitment process has been issued on 21.03.2018.
4. Under these circumstances, we do not find that the order of the learned Single Judge has been disobeyed. Hence, the contempt proceedings are dropped.
