JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondent, for wilful disobedience for the orders passed by this Court, on 16.07.2008, in W.P.No.16862 of 2008, dated 16/07/2008.
2.This Court, by its order, dated 16.07.2008, had directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.05.2008, and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, after giving an opportunity of hearing, to the petitioner. A counter affidavit had been filed on behalf of the respondent, wherein it has been stated as follows:
"I submit that the Contempt Petitioner has been called to this office on 12.01.2010 and 10.03.2010 and intimated the fact. However, as written endorsement is also being sent to her in this office Re.No.2454/2008/B1 dated 19.03.2010 explaining the position stating that unless she demarcate the portion to which she got in each Survey filed on ground sub-division could not be done.
I submit that I got great respect to the Hon'ble High Court Madras and have no intention to disobey the orders passed. However, if the Hon'ble High Court feels anything wrong done on my part I un-conditionally apolizes for the same and pray that the Hon'ble High Court may kindly be pardoned me and render justice."
3.A copy of the order, passed by the respondent, on 19.03.2010, had been handed over to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent. In such circumstances. this contempt petition stands closed.
