Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
By means of this writ petition the petitioner claims that the Gram Pradhan and Lekhpal along with other villagers are encroaching upon the land of the petitioner.
In case, any private individual tries to interfere in the rightful possession of the petitioner, the petitioner has to seek injunction from the civil court of competent jurisdiction or to make an application under the Revenue Code . In a writ proceeding such a direction cannot be issued.
The writ petition is mis-conceived and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
