Heard Sri V.K.Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the contesting respondents Avas Vikas.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondents to release post retirement dues like G.P.F., GIS, Gratuity and pension etc. as he has already retired on 15.1.2020.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all formalities have already been carried out in respect of his post retirement benefits and there is already a direction of the Housing Commissioner, Avas Vikas dated 06.06.2017 issued in the past for immediate payment of post retirement dues to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has further argued that he has approached several times the authorities but no action has been taken till date.
In view of the fact that the matter is pending consideration before the Respondent No. 2, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction upon the Respondent No. 2 to pass orders with regard to payment of dues including gratuity of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of a copy of this order.
Copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court shall be treated as certified copy of the order.
