JUDGMENT / ORDER

[1] The applicant has preferred this application for grant of furlough leave.
[2] Furlough leave was granted in favour of the applicant-prisoner on condition that applicant-prisoner shall deposit Rs.50,000/- before the Jail Authority. Thereafter, the applicant-prisoner made representation before the Jail Authority and Authority has modified the order and reduced the amount from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.25,000/-. To further reduce the said amount, applicant has preferred the present application before this Court.
[3] As per the averments made in the application the applicant is convicted for the offence under Sections 363, 366 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code and is convicted for five years by the Sessions Court. He is in jail since two years and two months. His jail conduct is also good. Considering this fact, present application is partly allowed. The amount of deposit is hereby reduced to Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) from Rs.25,000/-. Other terms and conditions shall remain unaltered as imposed by the Jail Authority.
