Leave to implead U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is granted. Let amendments be carried out.
This petition has been preferred seeking consideration of the case of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Sub Inspector in Civil Police. The prayer itself is made consequent to the petitioner having been promoted to the post of Head Constable with effect from 8th September, 2008, pursuant to the order appended at Annexure No. 3 to the writ petition.
Learned standing counsel appearing for the newly impleaded 5th respondent states that the claim of the petitioner shall be duly attended to and disposed of, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
