This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in S.T.C.No.1757 of 2016 and quash the same.
2. The proceedings that is sought to be quashed is now in the trial stage. The various grounds raised before me in this quash petition are always available for the accused to raise it as a ground of defence. I am of the view that at this belated stage of trial, it would not be appropriate for this Court to interfere and quash the proceedings.
3.In the result, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
