The present petition has been filed alleging that the process of selection as initiated on 22.1.2019 is not being given effect to and is not being finalized. The petitioner claims to be one of the applicants seeking appointment in pursuance to the advertisement dated 22.1.2019.
The Standing Counsel has filed a counter affidavit informing that on 14.1.2021, a decision has been taken to cancel the entire process of appointment as initiated through the advertisement dated 22.1.2019.
In view of the subsequent developments, whereby the entire process has been cancelled, the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition with a liberty to file a fresh challenging the order dated 14.1.2021 on its merits.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty, as prayed.
