Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioners who are Computer Operators and have been engaged on contractual basis by the respondent University, have prayed for consideration of their prayer for regularization. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court to the order passed by the Court in Dilip Kumar Vs. State of U.P. And Another [Writ -A No. 7932 of 2020, decided on 01 October 2020] in this regard.
In light of the prayers which are made, the Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending on the board of this Court and the ends of justice would merit the same being disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to represent their claim before the second respondent in the first instance.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent No. 2 and file a detailed representation in support of their claim for regularization within a period of two weeks from today. Subject to that representation being made, the same shall be duly examined by the respondent No. 2 and a final decision communicated with expedition and preferably within a period of two months therefrom. All contentions of respective parties on merits are kept open.
