Petitioner has made a representation for her promotion to the post of Mukhya Sevika on 29th May, 2018, and as the same has not been considered, she is before this Court for grant of an appropriate direction in that regard.
Learned Standing Counsel points out that by virtue of the Uttar Pradesh Bal Vikas Evam Pushtahar (Adhinasth) Sewa (Chaturth Sanshodhan) Niyamawali, 2006, only such persons are entitled to be promoted to the post of Mukhya Sevika, who have not completed 50 years of age and have completed 10 years of working on 1.7.2017. It is stated that petitioner has not completed 10 years service on the cut off date, and therefore, her claim cannot be considered.
In the facts and circumstances, aforesaid, as the petitioner is not found to have completed 10 years in terms of the aforesaid Rules of 2006, no direction can be issued for the petitioner's claim to be considered.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
