The instant contempt application has been filed for alleged violation of order of status quo dated 8.7.2014 in Writ A No. 32550 of 2014.
A supplementary affidavit has been filed and a perusal of the averments made therein leaves no manner of doubt that on the date of order of status quo, the applicant was not working.
The applicant contends that since he is not being permitted to resume work, therefore, there is violation of order of status quo. However, this would not amount to violation of the order of status quo, as admittedly on the date order of status quo was passed, the applicant was not working.
The contempt application is accordingly rejected.
